Why did you decide to train in the Allyane method?
I admit that at first I was more than skeptical, but the patient videos They were asking me questions. Indeed, the results were quite impressive, even though they were still just videos.
Next, I studied scientific rationale and mental imagery, so I saw that it was something widely used in sports but was just beginning to prove its worth in rehabilitation. I thought it was certainly innovative and could offer added value to patients.
What does the Allyane method bring to your daily practice?
I work mainly with neurology patients, primarily in central neurology, so a lot on following a stroke, paraplegic, tetraplegic patients and those suffering from multiple sclerosis.
The Allyane method provides me with an added benefit in their treatment. Indeed, I have patients who get stuck on certain things, who can't seem to get past a hurdle, and in this case, the method is an additional tool that allows us to bypass the obstacle the patient may encounter during their treatment.
What is the contribution of the Allyane method to your patient care?
It gives me personal satisfaction to succeed in doing something, to see the patient progress.
I'd say that ending the day knowing you've helped someone is just fantastic. It feels great!
Do you consider the Allyane method to be complementary to your physiotherapy practice?
Absolutely! There are many things I use in physiotherapy that I also use in this method, and vice versa, so the Allyane therapy is completely complementary to my practice as a physiotherapist.
It's really an additional tool in everything I can use to try and help my patient progress.
Would you recommend that other colleagues train with you?
I would recommend they get training; it's a real asset in patient care. It truly broadens their perspective when approaching a patient.
I would say that the biggest difficulty I could have with Allyane is if one day I had to do without it, I would be very upset!
