Read the testimonial of Benjamin Poisson-Garcia, physiotherapist and Allyane practitioner in Biscarosse. He is also a manual therapy trainer with theITMPHe tells us about his training in the Allyane method in May 2024, and its contribution to his treatment of motor inhibitions in his patients.
Why did you train in the Allyane method?
I discovered Allyane through a fellow trainer, and after thoroughly exploring all of Allyane's content, which greatly resonated with me, I decided to train in it. My main goal was to learn how to detect and treat motor inhibitions in my patients, thereby enhancing my practice.
By discovering the training side of manual therapy in recent years, I have increased my field of knowledge and it seemed to me that training in the Allyane protocol would be a logical continuation of my journey and my progression, in addition to being increasingly comprehensive for my patients.
The idea was also to work more closely with the sports medicine doctor who recently set up practice in my area and with whom we were already exchanging information, as well as with the orthopedic surgeons. There's a good dynamic in my area, so I really wanted to be a part of it.
What is Allyane's contribution to your patient care?
In my daily clinical practice, Allyane has allowed me to open up the field of possibilities from the point of view of the influence of the central nervous system on motor control, and therefore to put into perspective patients with whom I could previously have failed because I had not followed this training.
Today, I have quite a few patients from my patient base to whom I have offered an Allyane session, in whom I had not noticed any motor inhibition until before my training.
I've since started seeing my first patients referred specifically for an Allyane session—patients I didn't know—and with whom I've had some pretty amazing results. These patients had sometimes been struggling with health problems and going through a medical ordeal for several months, even years. I'm thinking of one patient in particular for whom the improvement has been enormous; she's now making progress in her rehabilitation thanks to Allyane, and that's truly huge for her, and for me too!
For me it's huge to be able to bring this extra something to certain patients, this spark to progress in their rehabilitation afterwards.
Would you recommend this training to your colleagues?
I can only recommend that my colleagues train in the Allyane therapyIt's a surprising method, which obviously requires some initial work and investment, but it's clearly a valuable tool. It's a bit different from what's usually done in rehabilitation, but Allyane fits perfectly with the individualized patient care that I truly want to implement in my practice, and I hope all my colleagues will do the same. It's very rewarding to be able to help patients reach a new milestone and to have their appreciation.
The training went extremely well, I thank Stephane Ladoucette once again for his involvement, I had a very productive and interesting training session, and I am off to a good dynamic start with Allyane.
Try it and you'll love it!
