Read Camille's story, who was treated with the Allyane neuromotor reprogramming method following a rupture of the cruciate ligaments (ACL) which caused a flexion contracture.
She explains to us what Allyane brought to her rehabilitation and her return to movement.
How did you meet Allyane?
I learned about the Allyane method from my physiotherapist Hugo at Movement Expert CenterInitially, I went to see him for a skiing accident: I tore my left cruciate ligament. So, I started physiotherapy sessions, and Hugo very quickly suggested Allyane to me, following my 4thth physiotherapy session.
How did you experience this session?
I understood how it worked; it was really about imagining the functioning leg and then transferring that to the affected leg. I tried doing it a little at home too, and I see that a lot of it comes from the brain.
What were the results?
I saw results immediately after the session. Even during the session, I felt the difference, at each test phase when I tried my right leg and then my left. We tried doing exercises after the session, and I immediately saw the difference. The Allyane session unlocked something that helped with my subsequent physiotherapy sessions. However, I had surgery a week later, so I was blocked again. Therefore, I think we'll do more Allyane sessions to address this.
Would you recommend this method to other patients?
Yes, I've already recommended her since several of my colleagues have torn their cruciate ligaments (ACL) in recent months. They've had surgery and are still limping a little, so I recommended her to them and I think they'll make an appointment.
