Below you will find the testimony of Charleine Taillandier, a high-level fencing athlete in INSEP, on his Allyane's care following knee surgeryShe tells us about her injury and how she felt after a session with the Allyane method.

Can you tell us about the injury you suffered?

I have had 6 operations on my left knee and since then I have noticed a significant muscle deficit in the quadriceps, and particularly in the lower third near the knee.

After some testing, we determined that my weakness was greatest in concentric contractions, primarily in the final degrees at the end of the extension. I also wanted to work on the explosiveness of my lunges. This is a crucial movement in my sport because I felt the need for a slight momentum during my push-off.

How did you meet Allyane?

I already work extensively with mental imagery, and I'm convinced of the positive impact it can have on the body. Before my surgeries, I was able to perform these movements without difficulty. So I was curious and motivated to reconnect with them to help me in my athletic training.

What were the results?

Immediately after the session, I felt more stable on my knee. All my apprehension vanished, and above all, I felt like I had awakened many muscle fibers. My sensations were the same as after surgery, when the quadriceps wakes up and some microfibroses release.

After a few weeks of training, I can confirm a significant improvement in my quadriceps muscles. For example, I couldn't lower myself into a single-leg squat on my left leg because I quickly felt limited in my muscle strength when trying to stand back up. Since my workout, I've surprised myself by being able to successfully complete this exercise.

The Allyane method helped me a lot in just one session. I highly recommend that athletes try this method, especially if they are already used to training with mental imagery.
