Eric Irastorza, a professional player for Cesta Punta, reflects on his treatment by the Allyane therapy byLaurent Etchebarne, physiotherapist, osteopath and Allyane practitioner.

Can you introduce yourself?

I am Éric Irastorza, a professional Cesta Punta player. I played this sport for 20 years in Miami, and also for a few years in Mexico. I returned to France in 2017.

My career is quite full, in fact I was a 7-time world champion and number one for 15 years at the famous Miami Fronton.

How did you find out about the Allyane method?

I learned about the method through Laurent Etchebarne, my physiotherapist. He suggested adapting it to my condition. I was very interested in the approach. So we implemented this treatment plan right after my surgery.

What did you think of the method at first?

I first researched the method, and I also have complete confidence in my physiotherapist. I wanted to recover as quickly as possible, so I adopted the method without any restrictions right after the operation.

What medical condition do you suffer from?

After several years of competition, I developed cartilage degeneration in my left hip. I was offered a hip resurfacing procedure, which I underwent on February 24th in Toulouse. They implanted a prosthesis in the femoral neck. It's a complicated condition because I could no longer practice my sport, and it also made my daily life difficult.

The Allyane method successfully restimulated the dormant muscle, and it paid off.

How was your experience during the Allyane session?

It was strange given that it was the first time and when you do the before/after tests you feel the difference, which is surprising and encouraging, by applying this method there are results that follow.

Would you recommend the Allyane method?

Yes, I believe this is a method that can help many athletes who have a physical weakness. It contributes to improving performance and to the rehabilitation of injured athletes.
